I get the point of this cartoon.

So, Anasi, who knitted your sweater?

Is that a tiny little spider in a sweater? I love it!!

I love Justin’s way of showing Anansi’s glee. No smiles (though I don’t know how he’d depict a smile on the spider, but I’d bet he could find a way), no radiating joy lines, no “!” or “:-)” thought balloons: just the uplifted legs. Subtle!

I think he got the point!

Foolish me, I originally thought Anansi meant to think of others and help them. Don’t know why…..

Anansi didn’t say those thoughts of others were “Good Thoughts”.
