I wonder where Luann and Crystal fit in their GPAs… When I graduated high school, I was shocked to find out I was in the upper third of the graduating class. Never thought I’d be That successful! There were some classes I really had to work hard in (Especially math!). Others, like Literature and History, were a cinch. It took me a long time, but I eventually graduated from university with a 3.9 GPA. Just goes to show you, I guess… ;)

Just as street shootings happen within a block of a police station, so Leslie Knox bullies and extorts a victim just outside Margo Phelps’s office. When Miss Phelps is engaged in counseling with the newly-minted valedictorian, neither she nor Bernice can be expected to be focussing on what’s happening outside the door (and presumably out of earshot).Still, I’d be pleased to see Oxford wander onto the scene and squash Knox utterly.

Hey Greg. I may not know how other school districts are doing it. But my kid’s school district is one of those that are money FREE when it comes to lunches. The parents have to pay into a fund via computer. Either at home or at the school office. Then the kid has a pass code they need to enter into a machine to ‘pay’ for the lunch.

I think Ms. Phelps needs to retire as badly as does Mr. Fogarty. Obviously, Bern would not be ready to take over for her, not that we know she’d want to. But I agree with Bern… Ms. Phelps is the epitome of the addage: “Those that can’t do, teach…” or in this case, “Counsel.” :-PPP

I don’t think the females inside the office have any idea what is going on with Knox outside in the hall. There is no indication Phelps and Bernice can see or hear what Knox is doing or saying. It may just be 2 separate stories that seem to overlap.

Sweaty armpits at Pitts Junior Senior High School indicates that the gym teacher is neglecting teaching the students good grooming habits. Deoderant was a required item in everyones gym locker when I was in school.~Leslie Knox may be one of those guys housed at a group home for boys. It would be the last step before going to juvenal hall. He is probably not living with his parents but instead living in a group home.

Actually, some information sharing should be required with interns.Personal opinions can also be shared, although this is often unwise..We don’t KNOW her replacement will be better.Methinks the entire point is that guidance counselors are often useless. Mine never helped me.I was nearly perfect back then, too, but a little help might have come in handy..You keep wanting to find everybody guilty of crimes. There are so many rules and laws that some may feel impotent for fear of violating one by enforcing another. (Yes, that was wrong, but HOW DARE YOU respond this way?!??!").We really don’t need to deal weth your friend, Leslie. We need to deal with the real Leslies who come in endless progression.

Yep, she’s a talker, not a doer.If stopping the Leslies of the world, there would not be so many of them. The rules often tie the hands of those who should be enforcing them. Plus many are lazy and uncertain regarding what enforcement is allowed and how..I read recently where various groups were complaining about school officials calling the sheriff’s deputies for misbehavior rather than disciplining them themselves. The attorney general of the United States has complained about the practice. This man has killer drones and the full force of the USA behind him. Who dares go up against him? Certainly not Miz Phelps..I bet you never filed charges againsy the Leslies in your school either. “There are tactful ways to deal with bullies.”.Sure, there are. But they should not be used. Tact is wasted on bullies..“Them starting it doesn’t give the excuse to give back damage tenfold, that’s why you got in trouble.”.Actually, it DOES. I didn’t give back ten-fold or they would have been dead. Proportional response is only to be used if you want to escalate rather than terminate aggression. Besides, I didn’t consider myself in trouble. Paddlings are merely pain. Pain goes away. Complaints from those who didn’t care enough to handle the situation are simply noise. Noise goes away.Wasp stings last several days. Black eyes are good for a few days, too. Humiliation lasts for years; better it be theirs..“Hopefully that fixed your bully problem though.”.It terminated it from them. The world supplies more, though. They should all be dealt with as soon as possible, as harshly as possible. Depending on government institutions to protect us is an exercise in futility. Few do their jobs correctly, in part because the rest don’t want them to do their jobs..“If the faculty did a better job of policing know bullies (and they know who the bullies are), you wouldn’t have gotten in trouble because you wouldn’t have been bullied.”.But they didn’t.They don’t. They never have. They never will. They even break up responsibilities such that guidance counselors are supposed to give only guidance and not rat out wrong-doing and not provide discipline and deans are supposed to be the only ones who can even pretend to discipline..Idiots point out that kicking bullies out of school makes them unemployable because they don’t have educations. Idiots point out that criminal records make criminals unemployable because intelligent people will give preference to those who do not have criminal records.Idiots have WAY too much influence on the system.

“3. Nope, they are looking right in Leslie’s direction. Unless you suggest they both stare at the doorway when they talk.”.I suggest we don’t know the perspective in a two dimensional representation of a three dimensional situation. You are probably right, but it is unkind to not give the benefit of the doubt to even the worst people..“4. Meanings, not meaninds. See how annoying this is?”.Yes, I do, as well as several others you were kind enough to not mention. (You’re a good person, deep, deep down.) That is why I left my cute little Nook, which can not correct it and got on this ancient eMachine which can..BEHOLD:.1. Or she was already in since she works there3.
