I’m enjoying watching the Rump being once again being played by Nancy.

Like most of us, she probably feels sorry for individual 1. But it will be a lot easier to have compassion for how truly pathetic he is, once he is out of office.

It’s been very sad for our country since it turned out that many US voters thought, and still think this guy was the best thing ever.

There’s nothing there to be joyous about. Unfortunately the current occupant of the WH is incompetent, lacks self-control and is dangerous to us and the world. I doubt the VP is any better.

I didn’t see her giggling, must just be you Lisa. Sad you can’t see the truth.

Trump Disciples like Lisa cannot understand that any time a president should be impeached is a sad day for the country.

That is not at all contradictory to being pleased that the impeachment has come to pass.

AND, all Republicans were overjoyed when Clinton was impeached — which is probably what Lisa was thinking of.

Lisa’s vision of reality is greatly obscured by what she assumes others are thinking.

No joy for Lisa now, perhaps. When the “craven, un-Constitutional creature[s]” in the Senate exonerate Ol’ Punkinhead in Moscow Mitch’s upcoming show-trial, there will be joy for Lisa. But that joy that Lisa and her ilk feel will be the debased joy at the desecration our system of laws and justice even further. One wonders: How Lisa would act if the proceedings in the House and Senate followed this same course of action if the impeachment trial involved a President Obama, or Sanders, or Warren for these same charges (i.e., total stonewall of White House documents and witnesses, Senate refusal to call witnesses for the trial, obvious collusion between the Senate majority leader and the President with the goal of ensuring a whitewash and predetermined acquittal) ?

it is a very somber time. Until he’s out of office, nobody is safe. Then afterwards, it’s party time!!!!

Vicious human scum Trump loves to laugh at his enemies. He cancelled Mrs Obama’s food for the poor on her birthday. Republicans love to be mean and vicious and then rub the people’s nose in it, “Ya can’t touch me,” they smirk, “we’re above the law.”

I don’t know how you can possibly defend Trump’s evil creepiness.

Nancy Pelosi has been nothing if not reserved, solemn, and respectful. I have been reading this cartoon to try to get opinions from both sides, but this just puts it over the top for me. I will not be reading Lisa Benson again.

Sadly, Benson’s bias prevented her from making any meaningful observation(s) about a well documented, public action.
