Interesting comment on “Twitter approved free speech”, since republicans insist on the “right” to spread lies and misinformation “as specified in the 1st amendment”.
Poor ol’ Payne. Still struggling to make sense of all these impossible-to understand changes in the way things OUGHT to be. Heck, they’re even letting WOMEN vote these days. It’s gonna be the end of the nation, I tells ya!
Henry, the pitcher stands on the mound when he pitches, with one foot planted in the center, on the rubber. What you drew has as much relation to real baseball as your politics has to the real world.
Um – among other things, if you don’t think China has the equivalent of ‘voter I.D.s’, you might want to read up on party affiliation and voter eligibility.
“woke”, like “politically correct”, is simply having consideration for your fellow American. conservatives, like Payne, try to demonize that. conservatives are the enemy of the U.S. and have been since 1774.
How about the law that states, it’s about the law that states, “nor shall any person give, offer to give, or participate in the giving of any money or gifts, including, but not limited to, food and drink, to an elector.” This was passed because sandwiches and water was passed out to the urban areas where urban citizens (heavily minority) had to wait in line 6-8 hours to vote." And there were other laws passed making extremely difficult to vote by absentee ballot. Now if they required IDs AND passed a law increasing the number of voting areas per registered voters, or allowed easy vote-by-mail I’d be ok with it.
“Much of the work administering elections in Georgia is handled by the state’s 159 counties. The law gives the State Election Board new powers to intervene in county election offices and to remove and replace local election officials. That has led to concerns that the Republican-controlled state board could exert more influence over the administration of elections, including the certification of county results.
One target for intervention could be Fulton County, a Democratic stronghold that contains most of Atlanta. The heavily populated county has been plagued by problems, including long lines, and it is often singled out by Republican officials. Under the law, the board could intervene in up to four counties at a time and install a temporary superintendent with the ability to hire and fire personnel including elections directors and poll officers."

Wow! I never knew I grew up so close to China!
You learn something new every day. Thanks, Henry!
P.S. I love the irony of the sign saying “no elections”, when having no elections is the Republicans’ wet dream.

Just another extremist right wing lie with no basis in reality.
If it wasn’t for right wing racism the Major League Baseball game would be in Georgia.

Payne can help Lester explain why MLB should return to its “roots” [ before J. Robinson and L. Doby ].

It looks like none of these poster have actually read the GA law AND compared it to other states – leftist states like Delaware or NY.

Stupid Henry Payne is right in hiding the “Updated Today” banner, but it doesn’t hide the stupidity that leaks through.
Remember, it’s the Republicans that adopted the Chinese election theory to remove the election officials and results they don’t like.
