P4: They found his body in a back alley in Central City, a look of horror on his face, and clutching a bloody loofah in his hand …

P1: Where did he get the defective Bob mug? Looks like it was written with an egg beater.

Seriously, how many Coaches would let a kid decide when he wanted to play or do something else? P3 Is he a motor head or a gear head

P1, Speaking of scrubbed, Gil and Kaz look over the shower footage from the last game.

P2, Well, at least Gil knows his name.

P3, Looks an awful lot like a foul to me.

I think this calls for Vickie Dee to light a fire under Go Kart Boy. Hmm, maybe he should check with CK’s mom.

P1- Dougie Motorhead with a Milford Monk. Did The Internet Ninja teach Kaz how to tap a few keys?

P2.5- Gil: Win and its fresh Irish Spring bars for the team. Manly yes and Lini Verde liked it too.

P3- C’mon Oaks. Win one for Tod!

The important question is it a home game or away game?? I guess if it was Home ; Vic would be shouting about the turnovers not the narrator.

P1 Who are you again? Whatever, I think I might be there too, Kaz, get your hand out of your pants

P2 Good call Doug the real fun starts in the showers after the game

P3 playing more like Distracted Driver Doug down the stretch when the game is on the line, a true testament to both Doug’s dedication to the game and Gilpa’s indifference to coaching. There goes second in the Valley – again

Hey Kaz! Do you like your coffee mug with the shitty, crooked, scrawled lettering? Stiff me on payment, that’s what you get!

P3: It’s Dick Tracy vs. Motorhead, the villain with a head shaped like a V-8.

What the hell happened with Gil? Is this because he now has tenure and unlimited power at Milford? He doesn’t even demand commitment to his team? My kids’ school was more academic than athletic, it even had a no-cut policy. But for basketball, even during winter break, if you left town and couldn’t come to practices, you were not playing when you came back, at least for a game. With Gil, you can just blow off GAMES to go go kart racing and he doesn’t care. “Oh, I’m so happy you picked basketball this week! Thanks for participating!”

And speaking of participating, if you’d like to participate in today’s Mopped Up Thorp, then just head right over here: https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/
