Toads go better with mushrooms (toadstool species).

There was a Sunday “Garfield” like this: pointing to himself crying meant onions, a kissy face with bugged-out eyes meant anchovies, hiding head under an open umbrella meant mushrooms, dancing meant to make it quick.

Mushrooms and onions are BOTH toxic to cats and dogs. Yes, I KNOW it’s only a comic.

How about just a plain old supreme pizza with a six pack.

Now there’s the less-than-brilliant Jon that I missed in yesterday’s strip!

I can see the onions, but not chicken. Garfield looks more like he’s trying to impersonate a beaver. Lol Only Jon would think of the frogs and “make it sad".

School-kid prepared “fast food” can be dangerous. My youngest step-son used to work at a local Dairy Queen and told stories after he was an adult (and school teacher).

A great bit in the older Garfield cartoon was when he got these characters called The Buddy Bears ,who always agreed on everything and would say if you had an opinion your prob wrong, to fight with each other by getting them to agree on toppings for a pizza. Garfield then tells us in the history of mankind no two people have ever been able to agree on a pizza topping. What a great cartoon.

I don’t want mushrooms in the same room as my food is prepared; much less a part of a meal!.I don’t trust things that grow in the dark; especially fungus…

Our cat always wants us to get him some “rat pops” and the standard answer is “OK. Tomorrow”.

*He actually caught a baby mouse once and I felt so bad for it I took it to the pasture and let it loose! (Cat was NOT happy with me!)

If Jon wasn’t so squished out of frame in panels 2 and 3, this could make a pretty surreal Garfield Minus Garfield.
