Full title of the first one was “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!”.All of them had exclamation points in the title.(The first one is the only one I watched all the way through.)

Plan Nine trumps Tomatoes if only because Tomatoes was made bad on purpose. Plan Nine was meant to be a serious attempt at a film.

    …attempt.

What a well-constructed work of art! I mean today’s FA panel, not any tomato movie (yeah, I saw the first).A compositional delight, with the possible exception that I find kitty cuteness disturbing. I think Mr. Lincoln saw a movie too, The Red Balloon (disguised as a tomato). Whimsy….

I saw the suggestion of a giraffe. And I saw that Honest Abe had a helium tomato balloon tied to his wrist. It must have been a Barnum & Bailey Day Out.Tomatoes are related to the ubiquitous woody nightshade. If you look at the flowers, you can see the family resemblance.

But are tomatoes imbued with a similar property of protection against the Evil I?
