Just because I once mentioned a very valuable edition…. with some pictures of…. never mind…and just because I have been known to deal in antiques and collectibles…and know some out of town buyers…Is that a reason to think I would pilfer from my (formerly) very good friend (and partner in turkey pot pies)?Hmmmph!Anyhow, Stel… I haven’t had time to get back to you on your kind investment offer….but I am more inclined than ever to discuss it.Perhaps over tea and turkey sandwiches…say 3-ish?

After three days rest, fine tuning his diet and perfectly balancing his sleep cycle with midnight snacking ; it appears Lowell has peaked about four hours early. Shirley is hoping for an impressive encore performance, after all she is wearing her pearls. Actually, Shirley is quite inspired, this is the second broken lamp this week.

Beviek is was a dear friend…and I would never…. and you see, one problem (for Mrs. Beviek, of course, since it isn’t ours) is that the value is far the highest here on Ballard Street.So anyone wanting to sell it… say, for instance, Bev ever decides to do so….. after all, we don’t even know whether it’s there right now, so we?…would almost have to find a buyer right here in this neighborhood…In other countries, cities, even streets there would be no one trying so hard to keep those pictures from seeing the light of day….If you catch my drift….so negotiations…BEV’s negotiations…if she indeed still owns this book… and wants to sell it…would have to be quite delicate…And the seller would have to know who might be willing to payand who would keep a secret…if there were a secret…

Do we dare even do this? Starting to get cold feet…….
