Ours got used for real highways and highway work..hard to believe YOUR state is crookeder than ours…

If they did that, it would put state employees out of work.

The province of Ontario did something like this a couple of years ago. For some reason they though accidents would decrease if drivers were educated by signs. Some examples of this very expensive project:Fatigue Kills – Take a RestIf You Can’t See – Don’t Passbut the all time winner in my books:Large Vehicles Need More Room. How did we ever survive on the roads without these ‘educational’ signs??

We had a little different approach to the Recovery Act and highway work; the flagmAn became flagmEn with a specialization in jobs, one to hold the Slow/Stop sign, one to hold the radio, and one to communicate between those two. now the work of two became the work of SIX – (sorry, that wasn’t funny, but it was true)
