@Ishikawa GoemonStuff that is truly funny usually has a large dose of truth in it. Unfortunately, so does stuff that hurts. I’m sorry this one brought back painful memories. .While I have great affection for some of my characters, most of them are—-to say the least—-not role models.
@Buzza WuzzaThanks. I wasn’t so much apologizing for the comic as expressing regret that it brought up some uncomfortable memories. I still think the gag is funny..Of course, the old saying about comedy is that pain is when you slip on a banana. Funny is when someone else (particularly someone pompous) slips on a banana..So perspective is everything.
