Cynicism is hardly a good foundation for love poetry, Vladimir Ilyich! —Although you do bear much guilt.

Ignorance is bliss. Maybe it’s best that you not see Vlad’s fist before it meets your face. I only have a permanent limp, and I got off easy compared to some of the other guys around here.http://obituarytypo.blogspot.com/2010/05/bodyguard.html

Haggis… Here I am suffering through the night with a Colonoscopy prep, starving to death, and you must torment me with visions of my favorite delicacy. Tomorrow I shall avenge myself on a steaming bowl of menudo, since my supply of fresh haggis is limited.

Poetry…when it just appears…seems to presage. When I find myself with words describing an interesting woman, she usually appears…and becomes more interesting, too…

All my life I’ve felt guilty I spent my undergrad years studying poetry. I still write on foolscap because I can’t afford electricity.

Put that turtle picture in your picture file. Go to your GoComics profile, and click on change avatar. Hit the browse button, and go to your picture file. Click on your turtle picture, click on open. Then click on submit, and that should work. Make sure your picture is in jpg or gif format.

If the poets are male, then all they really want is to get laid…and make a good rhyme. Sure, that too…
