An Investment banker will get his relatives to pay for the funeral, then claim a loss and get the government to pay for it as well!

No need for a coffin. Just tie a 2 × 4 across his back and screew him into the ground.

The three comics that I see both on the web and in print (International Herald Tribune) are Non Sequitur, Doonesbury and Dilbert.

Color adds enormous nuance and strength to Non Sequitur and Doonesbury, somehow making the jokes funnier.

In Dilbert the drawing is much more basic (no better than Trudeau’s Yale cartoons), but it works well. How come adding color adds nothing?

When it comes to businessmen, Wiley is filled with hate. Of course, he’ll claim it’s just a joke.

Better bury him 12 feet deep. His relatives are going to re-sell the grave site at a profit.

This month alone, he showed hate for businessmen, clergy, tweeters, texters,, facebookers, computer jocks, obnoxious little girls, doctors, congress/government, tribal armies, copyright attorneys, AND autumn leaves. He claims it’s a joke, hiding under the disguise of a comic artist but WE KNOW BETTER.

Do you people even know what an investment banker does? Without an investment banker, that minority owned business that my company purchased a couple of years ago would never have gotten off the ground. That hard working – and now very rich – entrepreneur went on to become… an investment banker helping other minority owned businesses become successful like him!So go ahead and party but don’t be surprised when people who aren’t already rich can’t start a new business.

@markmoss1 – You’re only supposed to bury bankers 3 feet deep, so they can still get their handout.

Reminds me of the final lyrics to Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War”:

“And I hope that you dieAnd your death’ll come soonI will follow your casketIn the pale afternoonAnd I’ll watch while you’re loweredDown to your deathbedAnd I’ll stand o’er your grave’Til I’m sure that you’re dead”

I find this cartoon to be offensive. Really, the answer to the problem is to wish not only death, but the right to dance on their grave. You have no humanity. Joke or no, this has crossed the line. I will remove this cartoon from my list. Good day.

It reminds me of the Drill Sergeant taunting the recruit in Basic Training: “I suppose that when I die you plan on coming to piss on my grave?”

    .

“No, Seargeant! When I get out of the Army, I’m never gonna stand in line again!”

If only there were a hell! Although, I’m sure they would have worked it such that they packaged their junk bond “souls”, re-securitized them, and got a AAA rating from the Vatican. When the bottom fell out, it would’ve left God holding the bag, they’d have paid off Satan, and sent the US economy to hell instead.

    Down in a hole…Where you belong….Lacking any soul…There’s no farewell song…

Burn in Hell…That’s the reward…And truth to tell…You’ve evaded the sword…

Of fair human justice…And will never know…The soft welcome peace…That true empathy shows…

To separate us from you…And the greed that you spew…And the death you embrace…And to see Satan’s true face…

Prior to “deregulation” even investment bankers had to “toe a line”. After, well. Hedge funds were ILLEGAL prior to that deregulation. Think about it! Wiley doesn’t “hate”, he just occasionally skewers those who deserve it, “richly”.
