Snerk!

She won’t find him. He’s the one in the yellow shirt in panel two, and hasn’t been seen in the school itself since he went out to retrieve a child from the outhouse classrooms last year. He thinks he’s in the line for off-price shirts.

Petey has a vivid imagination. Thank goodness he shares it with Madeline and us! —His schoolyard is a kind of strange Black Hole for odd folk!

I bet that Petey loved every minute of this trek into the land of The Twlight Zone.

Reminds me of the corn mazes.

You really managed to get yourself lost this time, Petey. But how do you manage to wander off the school grounds?

When I go to school today, I want to find a circus colony instead of a classroom!

If you don’t get an education, you end up in a colony of circus folk, or the hobo jungle.

Naw, Ernesto’s the one battling lycanthropy. Petey had a scare a while back, but nothing came of it.
