Seriously, though, Dick sees someone who is clearly irrational and engaged in self-destructive behavior. Does he have a legal way to get Tellum to the ER before he drops? Can he arrest Tellum for substance abuse?

Tellum must have a long-standing drug habit, because the number of pills he pops here would flatten most people. Add in the booze he was drinking while on the air and you have to wonder how much blood is in his drug system.

That’s a grim-looking Tracy in panel 3. Tellum is just about totally unwound; at the very least, he needs medical attention (and probably psychiatric, too). But, first, I think, he’ll get a little ad hoc interrogation from Detective Tracy. He has, after all, blabbed about the Men With Beards….

We were just outside Vegas, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. ;D

G’morning all —Hmm. Should Tracy bring Tellum in, or just call 911 and wait for him to keel over from the drugs?It’s nice to see one of the bad guys come unglued (although he is trying to be a tough guy about it).

If they are prescription pellets, Tracy can’t do a thing. This makes me like Morning Gloria and Mina that much more!

Not sure if substance abuse is illegal. Possession is, but I don’t know that there are laws against using.

Sounds like some Liberal wack jobs i know!

I wonder if Gertie has come down yet… drug abuse (even unintentional!) is running rampant in the ’City!!
