I confess I don’t get why the hands are clasped over the end of the elephant logo’s trunk. (To keep the Trump stench from entering its nostrils?) I am also puzzled by the T-shirt slogan. Is that one the Talibangers favor nowadays? Is it ironic here in relation to the commandment forbidding adultery? (Yahweh seems to have been OK with Lot’s shtupping his daughters, though, and Judah’s shtupping his DIL.)

Hey, Trumpers. That’s who you’re voting for. That’s where your morals are now. I have zero respect for these people.

The Republicans have never really been the party of Christian values. But, they have sold that lie very successfully to their base. For at least the past two generations, Republicans have depended on the Religious Right types, who make up a huge part of their base, to send money and volunteer and they have been very dependable, despite the fact that very few of them have enough money that they were not working against their own best interests. For them, it didn’t have anything to do with economics or social welfare, because they were brainwashed into believing that the Republicans believed in the Family Values agenda.

However, evangelicals are not as mindless as they appear to be. They really want the entire country to share their beliefs, or at least to act like they do.

They don’t like abortions, and actually birth control. They want everyone to attend church and believe in Jesus,

They want everyone to allow public prayer everywhere all the time. In fact, it would be required.

They would not allow any evidence of any other religion, or lack thereof to be displayed in public. That kind of thing is frightening to them and they really really hate it.

And, now Trump is promising them the dream, a Christian version of the Taliban in America. This is quite a reach, considering that he doesn’t attend church himself and has shown absolutely no morals according to the dictates of any religion.

It is amazing to see how many of these people who are, in their own minds at least, a moral shining light actually are not ashamed of the fact that they are avidly supporting a person who is reliably dishonest in his business dealings and has the Family Values credentials of an extremely active tomcat.

Cartoon billionaire fascist Trump is stuck in the right wing 1960’s and wants to take your rights away. Republicans treat women like chattel.

Ye gods, what Stormy Daniels had to go through! Were broadcasting on TV of the proceedings allowed, two-thirds of Americans would be vomiting at the thought of what Trump said and did. As she said, “No one would ever brag that they had sex with Trump.”

The magats have turned the world upside down. Getting elected is not for good governance — it is for the usurpation of power to enable the destruction of civil society and the rule of law. Election for the purpose being able to corrupt the concept and process of election, to enable those is power to limit voting to those who will enable them to stay in power.

Yes, the daughter thing. And they can’t argue it’s out of character. Trump made his sexual desire for her public, twice. It is inconceivable that a conservative with any type of values would vote for him. In this, we se not only their long-suspected hypocrisy, but also the reprehensible character of Trump himself. My politics are not very liberal, but conservatism has become a vile display of some of the worst aspects of human nature. I am being quite since when I say I will not be shocked if the RNC convention has Trump armbands and an organized group of loyalists in uniform.

It boggles the mind that any sort of christian conservative could support trump and yet they do. Maybe we should grab a few of these fun loving folk and saw their heads open, see what’s going on inside. We won’t be cruel, we’ll use anesthesia, of course, and sawzalls. All in pursuit of science and understanding.

This weekend it turns out, trump was rambling on about “Hannibal Lecter” an imaginary character in the movie, “Silence of the Lambs”. trump was praising this Hannibal character. Does trump believe him to be real? Nuttier by the day.
