This is our two-tiered Justice system! He appointed her, and he’s getting away with it.

We have all seen and heard the decisions SCOTUS has handed down over the last couple of years, landmark decisions, and the severe impact these decisions have had on the rights of some citizens.. We’ve seen some of the repressive laws some States have passed over the last tear or so. I’m predicting, as a sort of kick-back to Trump, and the GOP putting them on SCOTUS in the first place, they will declare Trump completely immune to any prosecution whatsoever, to be applied retroactively from his loss in the 2020 Presidential election. That will be the death knell for Democracy,

She well knows what her job is: protect her patron at all costs by following the advice of an experienced Federalist Society whisperer in order to make life easy for Trump’s defense of a crime he should already bein jail for. In return, the undying appreciation of Trump’s billionaire benefactors showering her with exclusive vacations that she no doubt will “forget” to report until she’s caught out…and possibly a promise to give her Thomas’s seat to ensure the corruption of SCOTUS continues.

Lawyer here. Even giving her the most benefit of the doubt (not saying she deserves it), if she can’t handle the workload of the case, it needs to be assigned to a different judge. You get on the bench, you gotta timely deal with the Motions before you, difficult or not. If you can’t handle it, the ethical thing to do is ask for a reassignment of the case.

The judge is either corrupt or she is incompetent. It’s a binary choice, just like the election this November.

The world is watching, and she is fooling no one.

Judge Cannon may have just given Jack Smith an excuse to replace her: Watergate prosecutor

The Florida judge overseeing Donald Trump’s criminal documents case may have just given the prosecution an excuse to take action, a former Watergate prosecutor said on Saturday.

Further, she said, the American public has a “right to a speedy trial.”

“She is not dumb, but she is really not doing her job,” she said, adding that for judges it is part “of their jobs is to set a trial date.”

“So her saying this is too complex a case, I’m not going to set a trial date, that seems to be something that could be subject to a mandamus,” she added. “And that may mean that getting a new judge would be delaying the case, but I would rather delay it for a new judge and not worry.”

1st Jack Smith should have never brought these case to trail.

Musta been a little mixup in the translator, because clearly the quotation should’ve been “Judge Cannon, you shouldn’t sit there.”

How was the decision made in the first place that she’d be the judge to hear this particular case? There were many to choose from, weren’t there? And yet it fell to someone who owed her very livelihood to the accused party. Did it dawn on nobody that there might just possibly be a little conflict of interest there? Suppose somebody had suggested that Hillary Clinton should sit on the jury. Would THAT have escaped everyone’s attention, too?
