For a second I thought the robot’s box said campus crush.

There was a Woody Allen movie, Zelig, where the title character never did get through Moby Dick.

I actually did read it, but that was some 50 years ago, and I can’t say I remember much about it.

I typically just end up reading the ingredients on the side. Now THAT’S bored.

Not so much HOW does it work, but rather, why ? What dolt can’t read a cereal box in one sitting ?

I met a guy that calls his dick Moby.

I haven’t had my morning coffee yet and thought that was a razor blade at first.

They also have short stories…Alfred Hitchcock Murder Mystery Cocoa Whodunits.

Not sure if it’s still in print, there once was a monthly collection entitled “Alfred Hitchcock Murder Mysteries Magazine”. A great collection of short stories. As you’d guess, murder and other fun and games from various authors.

I was today-years-old when I learned that the title of the book is “Moby-Dick” and not “Moby Dick”.

I always have problems with a thick novel that has had about 100 thick treatises written about what it means. I wonder why no one bothered to ask Melville while he was still alive.

Haven’t seen all the comments on this subject & wondered if anyone has suggested “One Flew Over the Cocoa Puffs”

to paraphrase charles d………. reading moby was far from the best of times…. much closer to the worst of times… call me ishmael…?….. and i only am escaped alone o tell the tail….. ( then fall asleep drooling)…which was a far far better rest…

IIRC . . . Captain Ahab was batsh!t crazy and obsessed about a white whale. The whale was smarter than him.

Actually, the story behind that stick-note glue is more interesting than Moby-Dick. It started out as a failed formula, sat in a drawer unused for years, and then somebody had the bright idea to use it for temporary notes, and the rest was history.

Yawn. My cereal was sticky and tasted funny.
