They do seem to be making S-L-O-W progress. I wonder if the trial will be over before he expires… which, judging from his naps during the trial today may be sooner than some predict.

Makes me feel good that if I commit crimes like Donald Trump, my first trial won’t take place until 2033.

Not only is he guilty of all charges, he also knew what he was doing was illegal. As far as I’m concerned, it’s all over but the sentencing.

I hated how slowly this all evolved, but if any of these investigations had been in haste and then failed at trial,…

He’s being accorded the rights of every US citizen, a right by the way, that he wanted to deny others. Remember when the Central Park Five were arrested? Trump put out a full-page ad demanding their execution. When it was proved that they were innocent, Trump didn’t utter so much as an “Oops.” Yet he claimed he’s the one being denied due process.

Easiest jury duty dodge of all. Sorry, your honor. No way I could sit and listen to more of his lies and diatribes without risking my health.

I also suspect more than one candidate for juror is also thinking about what might happen if he-she was selected, and their names became public information. Buttercup’s adherents likely might think it their duty to apply a little pressure to jurors to make the right decision of their country.

The media are misrepresenting his DOZO the CLOWN (thanks Jimmy Kimmel) act. Trump was not sleeping; he was meditating and declassifying documents in his head.

And now Trump is complaining that he MIGHT not be able to attend his son’s graduation.

As a military member I have missed graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, concerts, plays, sporting events, first steps, first words and a whole lot of other things in my family’s life. If the orange crybaby is looking for sympathy from me, he is not going to get it.

Just for fun, my wife went out to the FOX website last night.

Their top story was about the Biden’s filing their taxes. Eight stories later, they acknowledged the trial by quoting everything Trump said about it.

In old newspaper terminology, this is “below the fold” and is one step away from “burying the story” – or “capture and kill.”

Making America Great Again by telling the American public our version of what we think they should know.

The world knows he is guilty but the American system of justice requires a lot of lawyers must all have their say.. proving yet again that saying, “justice delayed is justice denied”.

    Deep breaths, people.

We are only on day two of jury selection. It’s gonna be at least two weeks before a jury is seated and we can get to the actual trial.

Big question for me is how long before Trump commits sufficient contempt of court, while in court, to earn himself some jail time from Merchan. He’s already violated the gag order several times, outside of Merchan’s view (so a hearing is scheduled for Thursday next week)( but if he violates it while in court then we don’t need to wait for no hearing – immediate punishment is on the table.

Has any lawyer ever worked quickly on anything after law school and the bar exams? The term “billable hours” seems to be the reason. And Judges and prosecutors are all lawyers first! A full workday might be an unknown thing for them!

Justice for the rich comes slowly or not at all. Even those massive fines he’s been ordered to pay will likely never be paid until it only matters to his heirs.

    It’s called “due process”.

Yes. Because you are innocent until proven guilty.

Unless you’re a black or a brown teenager, accused of raping a white woman, and trump thinks you’re guilty.

THEN it’s okay to kick due process to the curb, like trump did,

And take out full-page ads in New York City newspapers, like trump did.

And demand that these five teenagere “be forced to suffer”. Like trump did.

And then skip over a trial, and call for the reinstatement of the state’s death penalty for the execution of the Central Park Five.

    Like trump did.

But when trump is on trial for paying the porn lady to not tell anybody where he was instead of being at home with his infant child, THEN we need to slow it down.

The magat lackey cultists never cease to disgust me
