This evening I went to put my fork on the counter, wasn’t paying attention and ran my fingers straight into the sink front. ( it’s a farmhouse sink). It hurts, really hurts , like broken hurts. I don’t think it’s broken, just really jammed. And swollen. I’ve been off all day. Daughter and I drove to Pahrump to pick up our auction wins and I had trouble wrapping them up. That kind of day. Sigh.
NATIONAL BORINQUENEERS DAY. National Borinqueneers Day recognizes the sacrifices of the Puerto Rican Regiment of the Volunteer Infantry. Today the regiment is designated the 65th Infantry Regiment of the United States Army.
Just looked Pahrump up on Google: PAHRUMP’S OUTDOOR ACTION AND TASTY ATTRACTIONS
Although it’s only an hour’s drive to Pahrump, NV from Las Vegas, this small city on the southern edge of Nye County is just far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel like a world unto itself. Smack dab between the Entertainment Capital of the World and famous Death Valley National Park, Pahrump is a major stop on the Death Valley Rally road trip, acting as a perfect launchpad for experiencing the extremes this diverse region is marked by. All within range of Pahrump’s amenity-packed casinos, hotels, and palatial RV resorts are the Lower 48’s largest, most infamous national park—the hottest, lowest, and driest place on the continent—and the capstone of the Spring Mountains, Mt. Charleston, Nevada’s fifth-tallest peak; the world’s rarest fish and the planet’s oldest trees; rugged, no-BS biker bars and elegant award-winning wineries; and more.
Looks like the little stinker cares about her after all. She’s probably too too young to drive, though, carefully, or otherwise. Nice to see her so happy. On another note, saw a raven, two robins, a bald eagle, two rabbits, and two wrens while out walking today.

Aw, poor Chesney’s feelings are hurt – but Annie is happy walking the little dog. I have mixed feelings over today’s strip.
