Tabby reminds me of Doc Martin. This sounds like something he would say. (I’ve been binge-watching Doc Martin for a few weeks).

So many people believe the threat of “I won’t shop here anymore” actually means something to big box stores, when in fact they really couldn’t care less— you’re just a drop in a bucket, and they know that most likely, you’ll still be back anyway!

If you’d read the sign, you would find the pharmacy. The sign is certainly big enough.

I go to Sam’s club to buy their kitty litter (believe it or not, my cats have opinions on this — and many other things). Sometimes I get a follow-up email from Sam asking for feedback. I always respond that I am just waiting for a Costco to open in my town and plan to switch when that happens. They always thank me and I keep going back for kitty litter. But one day . . .

Next time you go to the super market, read every sign. There are so many signs, price tags, ads, and product labels it would take all day. I ignore 90% of all printed material in the store. I could easily miss that sign. Maybe if it had a large Rx and mortar & pestle I’d see it. But at a glance, it’s just dense text.

My office every day. Two signs in English…two in Spanish and a 4 by 6 full color poster sign. All say the DMV is closed here and services moved to nearby Mega Center. Signs now been up for nearly two months. Every morning there’s at least 10 or more standing at the signs waiting for the office to open. At 8 am they begin knocking and pulling on the door. This leads to yelling at the door….looking at the signs then wandering off. Then all day a few drive up, running up happy that the parking is open so NO WAITING! Running up they pull on the locked door, knock, rattle it, peek in, then reading the signs merely two feet from them. Leaving a string of expletives as they head back to their cars.I have sooo much fun watching them on our security cameras.

It would help if everyone had a compass. (Provided they had read the sign.)

A friend of ours once got into a little tiff with a store clerk and swore she would never shop there again. So now she just sends her husband.
