Paper is a renewable resource, but it takes a lot of fuel to bring them to the stores. Plastic is oil, but you can bring many more bags in one truck than paper.
Ha ha the age old “paper or plastic” neither one is the better choice but they both have their uses. I finally bought insulated zipper bags at Walmart and I managed to remember to bring them into the store when I shop. These are great because they hold a lot and really do keep the cold things cold or hot things hot.
