Being mean in the comments is for people who also wannabe, but can’t actually produce content, aside from mean comments.

Why watch her if you’re going to be mean?

Her expression doesn’t suggest that she just got insulted. The commentator could mean she wishes she would focus on someone besides just her. That is, a hint at asking her out.

People troll these sites looking for someone to react and make their target. Keep smiling, move on, don’t engage! I sure wish I had Nancy’s outlook but I’ve seen and experienced too much vitriol.

Never understood people that follow someone just for insult them. Or that read a comic or follow a show just for saying how bad they think it is. Looks like a sort of illness.

Many people like to tear down anyone who has done anything. In Australia, that is called the ‘tall poppy syndrome’ . It means that the tallest flowers get cut down first.
