Don’t fire her too soon. Opposable thumbs won’t get you to the cat food store.

Won’t clean the litter box either.

What are they opposed to?

Who on earth declares these “days”?

So empty your own litterbox, then!

Can it. No way cats will ever give up being waited on.

If this ever was to be, one would have to sign up for a weekly cat food service to deliver…..so there’s always food in stock…GASP!

Sorry, but all the cans have pull off tops. That can opener won’t work on them.

I’m certain they would be our new overlords, as there would be nothing they couldn’t do.

… but I’m pretty sure there would still be hairballs everywhere!

I think the cat with opposable thumbs would find all kinds of mischievous acts to do with their thumbs, but would still insist that their human wait on them for meals.

I don’t know cat, if it only lasts for a day I wouldn’t fire her so quickly.

A cat with opposable thumbs would basically be a raccoon, like the one(s) who dragged a 14-lb bag of ground corn off the porch and into the bushes.

All opposed say “NAY” …!

And how will you pay for your catfood?

Most cat food cans are pop-top or whatever you call cans with pull rings.

Ah, but now you need a job, my fluffy little freeloader.
