And yet the Repubs are trying to raise the curtain on the second act, denying the evidence of Smirnov being a Russian intelligence stooge and scrambling to make any kind of case.

Not only did the Republican’s star witness lie and make up everything he reported about Biden, but it also turns out that he was working for the Russian Intelligence Service.*

For some reason that will eventually come out, Trump and his Republican sycophants are owned by Putin and his criminal empire in Russia. This is why President Biden is going to win in November. Americans get angry when they realize another country is interfering in our democracy and that Republicans are encouraging it.

With a nearly 50-50% split House and Senate neither party can accomplish anything. Kabuki Theater is the result. They should just go home until the next election.

This is why Republicans want Trump, Trump fights, Republicans pretend to fight. There is your Kabuki.

But when Nancy Pelosi stages a three-ring circus over an “insurrection” in which no one was armed except the Capitol Police murderers, that’s just fine. Right, Mike? Riiight!

We recently watched the movie ‘Lincoln’ w/Daniel Day Lewis, and were reminded at how viciously and determined the Democrats of the day fought against the 13th Amendment. The GOP, founded on the abolition of slavery, in its present incarnation, doesn’t deserve to exist. They scream conservative talking points and make promises to return America to its founding principles; ‘just give us a majority and we’ll do the right things, pinkie promise.’ But when they have a majority, they abandon those promises quicker than a snake shedding its skin.

Michael’s art is always impressive but this one.. is really hard to focus on and I can’t tell if I need more or less coffee.

Alexander Smirnov was to be the wooden stake in the hearts of the Bidens. Now that it’s been proven he was a Kremlin fed liar for the Republicans, everything now is just theater. Unless of course you want to continue to be a Russian operative posing as a Republican Congressman.

If I was Mr. Schumer, I’d call for a trial for Mr. Mayorkas ASAP. Time to get it over with, and it will be great entertainment to actually hear what the Republican prosecutors will consider “evidence”. When the party of the president controls the senate, and the opposition controls the house, impeachment is a waste of our tax dollars. It’s a waste now against Biden and it was a waste (twice) against Trump. I wish the voters would throw out every single incumbent. We need a reset.

Only this time it is about a crime and not a Nothing Burger.
