You have to check two or three weather sources because some of them have gotten pretty nutty.

I’m forty miles north of the National Weather station in Caribou, Maine. This has been an exceptional winter….no huge storms and no super cold temperatures. Last year, right where I live we had a record cold windchill of -63 degrees. I’ve often seen weather that doesn’t get above zero degrees for two weeks straight, nighttime temperatures dropping down to -45.This past weekend the Can-American dog sled race, a qualifing race for the Iditarod, had to be canceled for lack of snow. That said, I think we just got lucky this year. Next year I’m sure we’ll be back to our normal freezing S winters.

Monty should have gone to the market for bread and milk.

I avoid the weather forecast, they just yack and yack, making something, out of nothing.

“Channel Nine weather Alert!!…It might rain tomorrow!!”

I would compare the last panel to Glasgow Montana but the the snow is not deep enough, yet.

The temperature will be in the 70’s F today where I am in SE Texas. It got up to 82 F yesterday. Spring is here. I won’t brag about our summer temperatures. ;-D

Hey, if Lloyd had really been exaggerating, he wouldn’t have stopped at “Major Accumulation”, he would’ve escalated all the way up to “Colonel Accumulation”, or maybe even “General Accumulation”!

We have a local forecaster who makes a big deal out of wind. Any wind. We all thought we were doomed when they had him on for 24 hours straight scaring the crap out of people. And Nothing HAPPENED!!!!!!! Someone posted a picture of a plastic lawn chair that had been blown over. It’s caption read “We Will Rebuild!!!!!!!!!!!” :)

It’s just a matter of time until the “polar vortex” and “bomb cyclone” merge into the “vortex bomb”.
