And the price of tennis shoes for Q’s is up to $399! But they are buying them thus incurring more credit card debt.

Soft landing instead of recession—full employment—infrastructure bill. Biden has done plenty to be proud of. He would have done more if the House was not under the thumb of Trump.

January 24 Gallup poll of most important problem facing America today:

    The government/poor leadership: 21%Immigration: 20%High cost of living/inflation: 13%

Our so-called “leadership” is depicted right there in that cartoon and for 3 years they have left the border wide open.

If you want to reduce your credit card debt, just don’t keep buying overpriced stuff you don’t need.

Like solid gold(colored) shoes with a ‘T’ on them.

So many of you posters believe everything is just hunky-dory. Checked the poll numbers lately?. Not good. There are a whole lot of people out there who don’t agree with you. They know what they and it doesn’t feel good.

Not a particularly good drawing of Kamalalalalala. But then she isn’t a particularly good vice president either. Maybe more potential voters would get up off the couch if the Dems benched their team and found some new candidates.

Republicans have zero plans to help the USA, the House is holding the border open and our budget hostage, Trump wants the USA to fail. Everyday the rotten republican House sits on the budget its a gift to Putin.

P.S. Who controls the price of food? Big Agra & the stores. Mortgage rates: Banks and corporations that buy up properties raise the rents and get to write off the interest rates. Credit card rates: Wells Fargo. Citi Bank, Chase etc.

Republicans are in trouble and they know it. You can tell by the way they are fighting within their own party. As hard as Steve Kelley is schilling for Trump, which is pathetic, it’s not going to work. Kelley is on the wrong side of history. The largest voting block in America are the Independents, and unfortunately for Trump and Steve Kelley, their brains work.

Biden doesn’t have to do anything to get me to vote for him. Trump is hopelessly incompetent at every other thing he has ever done, but he certainly is good at convincing me to vote for Biden, or J Fred Muggs if that’s who the Democrats run against him.

Back to the cartoon: In a NORMAL presidential election, kitchen table issues take the forefront, but this election is anything but normal. Trump has resorted to many things unconstitutional and already has plans to increase the power of the presidency if he wins. The congressional lackeys of his party will not join with democrats to try and stop it even though they know it is wrong. The kitchen table issues shown in the cartoon are issues we [Americans] have dealt with before and the Republic and constitution still stands. These are in jeopardy if Trump wins. America will not have seen anything at this level before and the question will be: will America survive as we know it?

‘Backfired on them tremendously’: GOP blamed for causing arrest of their key Biden witness

Despite their attempts to find ammunition against President Joe Biden with their investigations into his business dealings, House Republicans’ efforts have “backfired on them tremendously,” namely with the arrest of ex-FBI informant Alexander Smirnov for making false claims about Biden and his son Hunter.

As columnist Hayes Brown pointed out, Smirnov’s indictment shows he was warned repeatedly to “provide truthful information to the FBI,” but he still provided “false derogatory information” about the Bidens.

“If not for the Republicans trying to bring down President Biden, Smirnov many never have been charged,” Brown wrote for MSNBC.com. "A former IRS official had claimed to the House that David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for Delaware, had been rebuffed when he’d asked to be appointed as a special counsel to better pursue his criminal investigation of Hunter Biden.

Smirnov’s indictment was just an addition to the list of the GOP’s self-inflicted wounds after they rushed to launch an impeachment inquiry into Biden "which drew attention to the negligible evidence they possessed. Their witnesses gave them nothing useful, and the upcoming deposition of Hunter Biden is unlikely to reveal any bombshells.

According to the indictment, Smirnov falsely claimed to FBI agents that executives at the Ukrainian industrial company Burisma told him they hired Hunter Biden to “protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems,” at a time when Biden was vice president and bribed both of them for their efforts.

Republicans keep the border open and won’t pass a budget but they have time for phony impeachments that can show and tell on Fox propaganda.

‘Straight out of the Handmaid’s Tale’: Biden camp whacks Trump over report of extreme plan

The Biden campaign responded to a report from Politico detailing how Christian nationalism is intentionally being injected into the plans being drafted for a potential second Trump presidential term.

“Spearheading the effort is Russell Vought, who served as Trump’s director of the Office of Management and Budget during his first term and has remained close to him. Vought, who is frequently cited as a potential chief of staff in a second Trump White House, is president of The Center for Renewing America think tank, a leading group in a conservative consortium preparing for a second Trump term,” Politico reported Tuesday.

“Vought has a close affiliation with Christian nationalist William Wolfe, a former Trump administration official who has advocated for overturning same-sex marriage, ending abortion and reducing access to contraceptives.”

“Vought,” Politico adds, “is advising Project 2025, a governing agenda that would usher in one of the most conservative executive branches in modern American history. The effort is made up of a constellation of conservative groups run by Trump allies who’ve constructed a detailed plan to dismantle or overhaul key agencies in a second term. Among other principles, the project’s ‘Mandate for Leadership’ states that ‘freedom is defined by God, not man.’”

Republicans want to overthrow the Constitution and create a Christian National Dictatorship.
