The job of the special prosecutor is to lay out the facts, not editorialize about them. It is the same reason James Comey was criticized for dropping the charges against Hillary Clinton (but not against Trump which remained under investigation in Fall 2016) and then making irrelevant disparaging remarks interjecting his own opinions into a presidential campaign.

Merrick Garland and Jack Smith have bent over backwards to demonstrate objectivity and impartiality. Special Prosecutor Robert Hur, from the Trump “Justice” Department, went out of his way to interject personal animus and irrelevant subjective opinion.

Example: the document made a subjective evaluation of Biden’s memory, which the attorney, not a medical or psychological expert, was not qualified to do. He wrote, that Biden “answered painfully slowly.” Painful? Really? Who was in pain? Biden speaks slowly and with deliberation. If he had to interject a subjective opinion, he could just as well have stated, “Biden answered with careful and thoughtful deliberation.”

FACT: None of the actions of Joe Biden rose to the level of a crime. Like Trump and Mike Pence, he inappropriately had some documents improperly held after leaving office and improperly storing them in inappropriate conditions at his residence.

Like Mike Pence, Biden’s actions seemed largely inadvertent and, when discovered, he cooperated fully with authorities, including voluntary searches of the premises, and all documents were immediately returned without the need for warrants or subpoenas. In contrast, Trump refused to cooperate, refused to return documents and attempted to conceal evidence and obstruct justice.

Who was the one who had documents in his garage?Besides, the exact reason is that he cannot stand trial because of his mental acuity.

From the UK satirical website Daily Mash@

    ’It’s the weed,’ says Biden

PRESIDENT Biden has hit out at critics who blame his failing memory on his age, saying it is because he smokes copious amounts of marijuana.

He condemned a special counsel report which said his recollections had ‘significant limitations’ because he is ‘an elderly man with a poor memory’ for overlooking a daily cannabis habit he described as ‘heroic’.

He said: “First off, if you remember the Obama administration, you weren’t there.

“Second, obviously I have short-term memory problems. That’s because, in the short-term, it’s never longer than 30 minutes since I last blazed a blunt.

“I’m American. And what it means to be American in the 21st century is to be stoned: at home, at work, and at play. This isn’t senility. I am permanently bombed. I am the weedhead leader of a weedhead nation, as our hemp-farming founding fathers intended.

“To me, a folder stamped Classified Top Secret is just so much roach material. So quit with this memory $hit. You know who needs regular bong hits in his life? Trump.”

Jules Cook of Santa Fe said: “For real, he’s dead on about Trump. Motherf**ker got to chill.”

The only thing Joe Biden is “guilty” of is being President and a Democrat. In MAGA-land, that’s considered a capital crime.

It is Biden’s DOJ. The swamp has turned and we now must wait and see who they want to be the next President.

They took out Hillary, then Trump, now both Biden and Trump.

And some people think this is a democracy or a republic.

The Special Investigator veered outside the scope of his duties. It was not within his purview to make health, mental, and psychological assumptions for which he has no training nor dealings. Truly unprofessional but politics has creeped into every dealing in the U.S. today.

Google: Robert Hur—DOJ Special Counsel Who Criticized Biden’s Memory—Is Ex-Trump Prosecutor And NFL Lawyer

“Biden was sharply critical of Hur’s comments on his age and memory in a press conference Thursday, especially against one of Hur’s claims that he couldn’t remember the year his son Beau died. At one point Biden said “how in the hell dare he raise that,’’ in reference to Hur. Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer and White House counsel Richard Sauber wrote a letter to Hur prior to the publication of the report, which said that raising issues with Biden’s memory was “entirely superfluous.”

When Robert Hur realized he couldn’t win any document’s case against President Biden, he got angry. This investigation was supposed to make his career, and now it wouldn’t because there was nothing to prosecute. So Robert Hur acted out like a brat who didn’t get the toy he wanted and threw a temper tantrum. Now, Hur would try to hurt President Biden politically by making accusations that he was not qualified to make. Wielding his pen as a scalpel, he made accusations that he knew would be picked up and run with by the right-wing propagandist.

    Sorry, Mr. Hur.

Your libel won’t dissuade the voters who have watched President Biden for the last four years and witnessed one success after another, i.e., the economy, infrastructure, record low unemployment, women’s rights, and respect by the rest of the free world.

When we measure President Biden by his predecessor, the incompetent and corrupt Donald Trump, who accomplished nothing during his tenure, we will gladly re-elect President Biden.

Thanks for the pile-on; i would not have expected anything less from either party. Si, the process is slow and cumbersome. Change is unwanted, sometimes unnecessary, and always inevitable. Dems are chasing big money (no more pity grassroots for us) and ’pubs are chasing the poor (no clue); what a country. Can we find new goals beyond being an arms dealer?

Hey dems…The truth hurts, doesn’t it? “In his interview with our office,” Hur wrote, “Mr. Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 — when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’). He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him.”

Hur declined to bring charges because he knew he didn’t have the goods.

The disparaging editorializing on President Biden’s mental fitness was his effort to make amends to the party and preserve his Magapublican bonafides.

Biden camp hits ‘deranged’ Trump after ‘slurred’ speech at NRA rally

“Every single time Donald Trump opens his mouth, he’s confused, deranged, lying or worse,” TJ Ducklo, a spokesman for Biden’s 2024 presidential reelection campaign said in a statement following the 45th president’s speech at the National Rifle Association (NRA) Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night.

“Tonight he lied more than two dozen times, slurred his words, confused basic facts and placated the gun lobby weeks after telling parents to ‘get over it’ after their kids were gunned down at school,” he wrote.

The Biden campaign’s statement cautioned against being too hands-off with Trump’s candidacy, stating that “the American people are the ones who will suffer and die if he’s allowed anywhere near the Oval Office again.”

tRump’s attorney general blocked any and all illegal and criminal acts being made public found by investigators, including by his reported best friend Mueller. Biden gets a guy in Garland I thought was screwed out if a Justice nomination, but has disappointed as attorney general. tRump investigations should have started 3 years ago with trials already concluded. and this investigation given the ‘Barr’ presentation. In his effort to appear fair Garland has screwed the American voter and the Nation as much as Barr did.

MSNBC hosts left speechless by ‘senile’ Trump’s bizarre claim about Pennsylvania

After watching a clip of Donald Trump telling a crowd on Friday night that Pennsylvania as we now know it will cease to exist if he loses the election, two MSNBC hosts were left speechless while a third could be heard laughing in the background.

During his speech Friday night in Harrisburg, the former president told the crowd that a President Joe Biden win in November would be bad news for the state.

“We’re not going to have Pennsylvania. They’ll change the name,” Trump stated. “They’re going to change the name of Pennsylvania.”

On Saturday morning, MSNBC “The Weekend” co-host Alicia Menendez shared the clip and, as it concluded, tilted her head in confusion, Symone Sanders Townsend looked down and was unable to speak, and former Republican National Committee head Michael Steele, who was off camera, started laughing.

Sanders Townsend finally stated, “Michael, you said something the other day, I was like, ‘Yes!’ Donald Trump, obviously, he has trouble stringing a sentence together. The American people, the voters at least, do not think of him as senile or crazy, his inability to put a sentence together. They are not registering concern about his age. I think that is because there has not been a sustained campaign from the time Donald Trump came onto the stage down a little elevator to brand him as such.”
