Will the GOP ever find a speaker that they like. They forced PaulRyan to resign. They didn’t like McCarthy and voted him out. Now Johnson is on the verge of getting ousted for who knows? The problem is they have nothing but knuckleheads to choose from and they expect to find real leadership in that group. They already drove out party members that had the leadership qualities necessary to get a bill passed.
Mike is a good guy and the right man for the job, the problem is rino’s vs Trump Republicans., rino’s want a America last policy, and Trump Republicans want a America fist policy.
Think about what a Speaker is supposed to do — to develop and pass legislation that advances the interests of the United States.
Republicans are elected with the expectation that they will allow no legislation like that to pass, ever. How can they select a Speaker, except one that will obstruct and sabotage?
.
Republicans don’t really want a legislature, except one like Russia has, that will rubber stamp the demands of a strongman. And everyone knows who that strongman is.

I doubt this House GOP could pass gas or kidney stones without infighting.

When you take your orders from Putin loving citizen Trump instead of the majority of Americans then its going to be tough sledding.

I don’t think Rs have policy any more, other than to kneel before their “appointed one” and violate their oaths of office

Religious crackpots are never suitable for public offices. Their delusional outlook and unchangeable prejudices prevent considering all options.

It’s an impossible job for a Republican.

No, they want a Trump first policy. He couldn’t care less about America or his lemming-like followers.
