The impeachments put forward by the Democrats were always serious and backed by evidence. All the impeachments from the Republicans were more frivolous than the one above.

Rep. Ken Buck — “This is not a high crime or misdemeanor. It’s not an impeachable offense. This is a policy difference.”

The Colorado Republican went so far as to admonish his party, saying, “If we go down this path of impeachment with a Cabinet official, we are opening a door, as Republicans, that we don’t want to open.”

Rep. McCaul says on Fox News that House Republicans want to impeach Mayorkas to “send a message to the administration.”

No high crimes. Not even a misdemeanor Just naked politics — and they aren’t even trying to hide it.

Starbucks in is a dispute with its Union barista workers over unionization of their workers, the union supporting Palestine, the closing of some outlets, and the union’s call for a boycott. This has nothing to do with impeachment, so the use of the word makes no sense in this ‘toon. Unless one of you has an explanation, Starbucks has nothing to do with impeachment of Mayorkas, Biden, Trump or anybody.

Dems lowered the bar on the seriousness of impeachment. It doesn’t look like Rs can raise the bar.

Russia, Russia, Russia….Impeachment I and II…with II while out of office…each based on the deflection and projection of their own guilt…81 million votes and the new class of 81 million voters crossing the southern border…yeah, buddy…

Someone tell Cosmo above that the Republicans started the whole impeachment thing by trying to impeach Bill Clinton for having an affair.

Europeans never understood the fuss. “He briefly had a mistress, his wife dealt with it, let’s move on”. Powerful men have had mistresses since the dawn of civilization. Grow up, already.

Oh, that’s right. When Combover Caligula committed and was convicted of rape, the right wing suddenly decided it was no big deal.

In the situation of a drink that he felt was “unacceptable,” even if he had finished drinking it, Trump would simply refuse to pay for it. It’s his long-held policy,

Maybe the worthless yahoo insurrectionist republicans could try to pass the overdue budget that dems have to keep cobbling together to keep the country running.

The current republican house has done nothing for the American people.

Ramirez implying criticism of Republicans? Again?

    .

What could possibly be next? Is Ramirez going to claim that character matters in presidential candidates, and that Trump is out on bail under 91 charges, including theft of top secret sensitive material?

I remember when Republican/conservatives were somewhat honest, and at least embarrassed when they were caught lying.

Dereliction of duty, failure to uphold the oath of office, willful negligence to execute existing laws.

Sounds like logical reasons to impeach.

I remember when we used to impeach people for the reasons impeachment was created. People such as Orange Traitor, where the Repubs failed twice to stop an immediate threat to the USA. Allowing him more time to steal secrets to sell to the USA’s and their allies enemies.

There are at least three corrupt, unqualified conservative justices with ethics violations and likely extortable backgrounds, that should be impeached and removed. Yet, the Repubs are throwing impeachments at people that the process not only was not created for, but people that have not committed any crimes or misdemeanors in the scope of their jobs. Seriously, the Repubs are blaming one man from not fixing the boarder problem, when they are blocking what he needs to do that job.

The only votes Repubs can win, aside from their wealthy owners, are from really, really stupid people.

Yes, I do: Nixon’s almost impeachment was a very serious one; P001135809’s Impeachments 1 & 2, especially the last one, were necessary, serious and deserved impeachments of rule-of-law transgressing POTUSES.

Compare Watergate to the acts that have transpired the last 3+ years. To think those were, “the good old days”.

Call me crazy if you will but I’d say allowing 10 million people, with little education, unable to speak the language, no ability to pay their own way, get a job, or be self-sustaining might be cause for impeachment but hey, that’s just me.

Despite everything else, Ramirez can draw. The detail, rendering, colouration is exquisite. He is a seriously talented artist. His politics though? Yikes.
