Trump will take credit for his inauguration crowd being bigger than Biden’s despite the Covid mess, chaos in the Capital, and the madness of the mob he created being a very real threat. How any American supports this flagrantly mendacious and profoundly corrupt ex-President is beyond understanding.

Rameriz is a brilliant artist. I’m stunned at the quality of his artwork. His ideas and themes are against my politics – remember how he always drew Obama in a golfing outfit? However, this cartoon stands out as a brilliant illustration of the desperation of the GOP to deflect accountability for the MAGA mobs mindset and behaviour.Credit where credit is due. Pulitzer worthy.

As an employer I would never employ a Trump supporter. By virtue of their support for this mendacious idiot tells me that their capacity for reason is severely compromised.

The best cartoon of the year thus far. Clay is simply extraordinary in his vision and craft.

Wow. Your culture is seriously in trouble if there is agreement to this view posited by Ramirez.

In fact the conservative, status quo protecting, misogynistic, xenophobic, micro world view, hyper-subjective brain has its own neurological construct. http://www.salon.com/2014/07/29/secrets_of_the_right_wing_brain_new_study_proves_it_conservatives_see_a_different_hostile_world/Enjoy the read @corayan

I’m not an American. An antipodean observer of sorts. This cartoon represents many in the ‘Obama is an idiot’ genre. Where I get confused is this messianic construct you make of whoever is your president which is simplistic in the extreme. Also this digital thing – good/bad, right/wrong, yes/no – view of the world is also denying complexity. Tens of thousands of people were involved in building this affordable care act system. All coming from good intent I imagine. The aspiration of the universal medical care is one many many countries have achieved – Australia for one. The vitriolic reactiveness is ignited by cartoons such as this is interesting.

Americans: selfish, scared and stupid. The world is watching in open mouthed fascination.

From our side of the planet the paranoia people have in the USA towards Ebola seems so disproportionate to the risk and yet there is an acceptance of 30 000+ deaths per annum by hand guns?!?Here in Australia owning a handgun is major deal and of course no semi-automatic guns. As for Ebola… well there is fear and then there are facts. Cartoonists have to come up with something though… and Ebola touches the primitive fear nerve.

Let’s see… how about a program to support people in living healthy, happier, longer lives of quality vs. obesity, diabetes and sloth? Nah. That’s an awful intrusion into peoples lives. Americans continue to astound the rest of us who live in ‘not USA’ (there are a few of us).
