Reminds me of the annual Christmas lights routine!

Reminds me of untangling my crochet yarn when it gets tangled like that. You have to find an end first and then work it through. It takes time though, I’ll do it while watching TV.

Its no longer the extension cords but all the power cables for the electronics.

I filled a moving box (“Large”) with cords, cables and surge protectors, when I emptied my deceased brother’s room. And he only owned a laptop and a PC.

You can never have too many extension cords.

Save up the cores from some of yesterday’s toilet paper then loop the extension cords in 12 to 18" loops and slide them into the core.

Looks like someone had problems lookinf=g for an extension cord when needed and just went off to the local hardware store and bought a new one to have a pile that big. I’m 73 and have never had more than a half-dozen extension cords and they were all of different lengths.

Do what I do and keep them in a huge bag that you never, never, never open. They might come in handy one day. Right?

So far, my ‘extension cords,’ cables and whatnot are confined to a large ziploc (which I keep thinking about tossing, but then wonder if a day might not come when I might need one of them?)

Was this left over from the Christmas cleanup? that would be the only explanation why there would be so many extension cords.

My problem isn’t extension cords (mine are neatly wrapped and stored). My problem is charging cables… even neatly wrapped, they proliferate into a mess.

They breed at night when we aren’t looking. Same with boxes.

Go in separately in case one of you gets caught in them.

Why? They will only get tangled again.

We had a DJ/Karaoke business a long time ago. I had to wrap all the cords so we could use them week after week. I still do this. When we go over to the kids place and I see a tangled cord in the garage, I wrap it up. I guess I’m a cord junkie.

Bite the bullet and toss them all. Put them in a box and put it by the curb and it’ll be gone the next morning.

Or take a few at a time an test them see if they work if not trash them.My daughter collected extension cords, not as many as they have, tested on two of my electronics see if worked, not had to be trashed damaged. Not fit placed in box for later use.

Only one way to do it… one at a time.

Not so much the extension cords, as the old, unidentified power supplies – they must go to something (which I’ll find as soon as I throw out the power supply)!

I don’t have quite that many, but I have an athletic bag of cables and cords that I can bare zip closed.

Got a big pile of mic cables like that in the sound room at church.
