Why evolve if you don’t need to?

Did turtles used to look like hummingbirds? If sharks never change, then what about megalodon?

My smart phone is at least 10 years old. I don’t know what I’d use a newer one for that’s any different.

The turtle is talking to the shark about evolutionary stagnation.

Speaking of the “evolution”, it’s noteworthy that all species of a shape sufficiently distinct to be easily tracked in the fossil record are 100% what they are in all their specimens. All found pteranodons are 100% pteranodons, all triceratopses are 100% so, all dugongs are 100% so… I guess the myth is preserved by evolutionary biologists afraid of getting jobless.

There’s hammerhead sharks, shovel-nosed sharks, sawfish and lord know what other toolfish in the deep blue sea.

So, the turtle… is talking about the unchanging nature of sharks? That’s a pretty fine line, for a turtle.

He forgot about crocodiles and alligators and a variety of bugs. And turtles, of course.

A lesser shark would’ve taken that personally ✍️(◔◡◔)

Love it that Sherman is always snacking on “Squidos”.

Sharks have actually changed in the millions of years they have been around.
