It also played a bit of instant karma on a prankster who tried to steal a morsel from a lunch yet another person prepared – the roulette-chef had snuck an ultra-spicy meatball into that meal.
That sounds just like my Gran. Except the kalesicles. In her day, kale was a decorative plant to edge a garden. We got the real thing. Sugary syrups frozen solid.
