Is this a new rule because Phil got tired of being woke up in the middle of the night when the dog had to relieve himself outside? Too bad you can’t do for dogs what you can for cats which is to have a litter box for them. Snakes of course never wake their owners up in the middle of the night to go because for one thing they’re quiet, and they’re also kept in enclosures where they relieve themselves all the time. They can make noise while slithering around and turning hides upside down, but you won’t hear them doing that when you’re asleep.
