Yep — Those civilians 3000 miles away know how to fight a war (as LBJ/McNamara proved). Just hold your horses, give Hamas time to regroup, rearm and dig more tunnels.
Imagine telling another country, who just had the worst killing spree of their citizens since Hitler was in power, how to run their response to that event. Biden’s losing favor to a large group of democrats who think Israel doesn’t have a right to fight back against the atrocities. It shows how far removed from the center todays democrats are. Shocking and people will vote accordingly.
If the GOP refuses to keep military grade weapons out of the hands of domestic mass murderers — why would they stop an Israeli mad man — that most Israelis don’t like — from his overly vengeful genocide attempt?
So when Should the IDF stop its incursion into Gaza?
When they have killed 100 Hamas fighters a d killed 1000 civilians?1000 Hamas fighters and killed 50,000 civilians?
How about just everyone? When Isreal destroys every building in Gaza and kills a million people do we say that they have gone to far?
How far is too far?
Of course Lisa will still be Criticizing Biden for trying to restrict Isreal right up to the moment shebsays that Biden should have stepped in to restrict isreal.
Unless Israel opts for a true Final Solution they will always have a hostile 2 million Gazans on their border. If they kill a suspected Hamas fighter there is little doubt his 12 year old brother will swear vengeance on Israel.
Biden has seen to it that large amounts of money was given to Israel to help them fight, while at the same time he is trying to get the hostages, some of whom are American citizens, returned to their loved ones. If one of those hostages were from your family, you would be begging him to do whatever it takes to get them back.
Until you erase a memory you have not won. Given Netanyahu can not differentiate between a “Hamas” or a “Palestinians Civilian” they all will understandably have.. a bad memory. Thus, they all have to be eradicated.
Reminds one of Hitlers effort, didn’t work then in spite of removing 6 million and won’t work with Netanyahu either. The world stood up then and gave the survivors some land.. what will the world do this time for the Palestinians.
Did I miss something or was it thousands of rockets launched by Hamas in a surprise preemptive strike that started this? As my Granny would say, “It sounds like the Palestinians led by Hamas bit off more than they can chew,” That might also apply to the poor Palestinians who chose Hamas to be their leader. And Hamas is the one that has vowed to kill all Jews. And Israel is supposed to lie down and wait for their being purged “from the mountains to the sea.”? Those who forget history are doomed to relive it. Heil Hitler.
Obama’s “….red line in the sand…” was made to Assad in using poison gas in the Syrian civil war. Putin, not wanting U.S. boots on the ground in the war, stopped Assad from using the gas and had it destroyed. Biden has already pressured Netanyahu for the pause and prisoner exchange that ended today. Biden will pressure Netanyahu further, there is no doubt.
Well, someone needs to run roughshod over Israel. But, the time to have done that was many years ago when the Israeli government first started going to apartheid with the Palestinians. The Zionist movement has been systematically pushing out Palestinians in a land grab that would’ve made Hitler proud.
I see a lot of ignorant comments regarding the ownership of The West Bank and other captured and annexed areas belonging to Israel. Jordan illegally occupied the West Bank in 1948 then illegally annexed it in 1950, which almost all nations of the world did not recognize. In 1967 Jordan attacked Israel in the Six Day war which Israel won, kicked Jordanian troops out of the West Bank and claimed it for their own. Only three nations ever recognized Jordan’s claim. So it belongs to Israel which it should have been since 1948. Prior to that it was administered by the U.K. and before 1918 it was part of the Ottoman Empire.
The West Bank was not the only territory Israel captured during that war they also took the Golan Heights, Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula. What is interesting and almost unheard of, is that Israel gave the Sinai, which had oil, back to Egypt. So here you have Israel with no oil deposits, giving back oil rich territory to Egypt for a guarantee of peace and nonaggression. That’s a hard trade but shows how much Israel desires peace with its neighbors.
I see so many comments against Biden for not backing Israel more firmly. A U.S. president, ANY president, of ANY country must take careful steps. Once unleashed, war goes it’s own ways and distances. If any of you read history, it is replete with national leaders acting precipituously, plunging its people into war without really thinking out the implications. The Great War (WWI) should not have been a long, drawn-out Continental war, but a fever was over Europe, and those who cautioned against it were shouted down. I am glad that a U.S. general spoke to his military counterpart in China, because the Pentagon was unsure of what our “president” might do, and if China might mis-interpet. (I was worried about what Reagan would do, a few times) Harry Truman fired McArthur because if Doug did things the way he wanted, a great conflagration would probably have resulted.
Yes the Obama/Biden lead from behind approach has done wonders for our foreign policy! Two wars, Dictators flush with money, an invasion on our southern border, what’s next, a new Socialist world order?

Now we hear reports that Hamas branded child hostages. Can’t help but wonder if it was in the form of a number tattoo on their forearms.
Time for Israel to finish the job of eradicating Hamas. Forget about Biden. He has no clue what is going on.

Conservatives don’t want the USA to interfere in other countries but want the USA to control other countries. Got it.

Lisa somehow knows better than the US Diplomatic Corps and the Pentagon.
Biden does NOT make these decisions by himself.

The smartest, the best thing, the most ethical thing Israel can do is end this quickly and get back as many hostages as possible.
