My sister was visiting with my wife and I and we were discussing whether to eat our or take in for dinner. The ultimate decision was made to take in and when we decided it my sister announced, “Oh good, then I can take off my bra,” just as my adult son opened the door and walked in. He did a 180 and walked back out.
When he did return, he stated, “I have to stop walking into the middle of conversations.”
I am writing a fictitious book, “101 Reasons I am Glad I’m Not a Girl.”
I am often involved in conversations where women’s issues come up. When this happens I will blurt out something like, “Reason number 63 why I am glad I’m not a girl.”
There’s a whole block of numbers devoted just to bras.

Rubenesque Aunty. The word is Rubenesque: plump or rounded usually in a pleasing or attractive way.

Of course. Those were the women who were not only more likely to survive, they were also more likely to be fertile.

The Role of Women in the Italian Renaissance:
https://www.thecollector.Com/role-of-women-in-italian-renaissance/
There were three possible paths for the women of the Italian Renaissance: they could be either “nun, wife, or [courtesan].”
In paintings of nudes, there were usually chubby cherubs acting as chaperones.

They knew a thing or two back then. Witches and Earth was flat. Some political voters still believe that dribble.

Good one, Aunty. We chubby women would have been highly sought after by artists.

Among other things, the Bra did not Exist during the Renaissance.
Boobs were still primarily those things women used to feed the Squalling Brats.
