The clock goes forward, the lights come down…
Christmas decorations go up on St. Nicholas’ Day, December 6th, and come down on Epiphany, January 6th.
The wife put up the Xmas tree yesterday. She’s been making decorations since September.
Takes me a month to untangle them

Cool. So it’s actually a net gain of Light.
This is what we do! We call them winter lights. So much nicer than driving home to a dark house.
the temperature goes down, the wind comes up…
So, less natural daylight is offset by an increase in artificial holiday lighting.
