When will enough be enough? Is it when the NRA bribes stop buying influence?

If he comes knocking at our door, We’re glad we are armed. In this case, once again the mental health system has failed us along with the federal government that knew he was a threat and turned him loose.

And it was the republikkklans’ Ronnie Raygun who set the mental health system on its path to its present failure.

Mass Shootings are Gods way of punishing America for being the World’s largest weapons exporter.

As a retired mental health RN, I know a lot about the various forms that mental illness takes while at the same time knowing I can never really know what goes on in anyone’s head.

I used to wonder how a person wakes up in the morning and thinks ‘today I’m going to kill myself but not before I kill a whole lot of others’. Of course that implies that a person is in control of his thoughts in an organized way which is obviously not the case in these mass murder suicides which takes me back to the thought that this person should never have access to a gun.

Mental healthcare in the US is not good and it is unfortunate that a lot of people who could benefit from it never do. The average person doesn’t know much about it and it is still stigmatized so it is easy for us to label all of these mass shooters mentally ill. Most of us agree that “mentally ill” people shouldn’t have access to guns which leads me to the question, how do we know if someone is mentally ill?

Simple answer is we don’t and we are not qualified to determine it and for me it just seems obvious to not sell so many guns. Background checks may be helpful but that is a red herring. Stop the gun craziness.

There is a simple way to put a stop to scumbags like the äpärä in Maine and that is for the people to start shooting back!! The äpärä had no thought of taking 18 INNOCENT lives, so, he should of had no problem with someone taking his life!! The very next time someone starts to commit mass murder, someone should shoot the äpärä!

Sad, the man turned himself in. Main held him for two weeks, fine but it wasn’t enough. There are already gun laws but they don’t work. Open a few mental health hospitals and clinics and see what we can do. More Red Flag Laws, as long as a judge, a family member, legal serves a court-appointed advocate. As long as those Red Flag Laws have a stated policy of returning the guns and financial damages are supplied when mental health accusations are found to be false.

And when the guy volunteers like that poor man did, just get a Judge to sign off on it.

B 8671 is promoting that MORE people should have guns and shoot back.

Two shootings immediately came to mind. At the one at the Batman movie, the shooter also had smoke bombs. At least one person there said they almost shot one of the other innocent people. When Gabby Giffords was shot, there was a great deal of panic and confusion, someone in that crowd said they’d almost shot another innocent person.

Thinking about shootings like this one and in other crowded places, a bunch of people randomly shooting will kust make the death and injury totals even higher.

Could just be me, but it sounds like the Maine police couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag if they had a map!

“Twice during their manhunt this week, Maine police searched a recycling center in Lisbon for a mass shooting suspect and gave it the all-clear. Then the center’s owner called police urging them to look again, asking them to check the trailers sitting in a overflow lot across the street, the Washington Post reports. That’s where they found Robert Card on Friday night, in an unlocked trailer filled with scrap metal and plastic, after he apparently shot himself.”

If you take the gun out of the equation, you still have an insane person running amok with murderous intent. Gun control in this instance is tantamount to closing the barn door after the mule got out!How about doing something when all of the different colored flags are thrown up?Our Mental Healthcare system is severely lacking here, folks! Why isn’t this being addressed?
