Nature’s barometer.

Mom: “Better check with the cats, too!”

Sophie: “Yeah, maybe they’re causing all of this!”

Sophie is so snug under the coats in the closet you can just see her in there, but not much.

“This is a test of the Sophie Early Warning System. If this was an actual thunderstorm, Sophie would alert you using a piercing whining tone. This is only a test.”

Okay, on a similar but slightly tangential subject, does anyone have a lightning rod on their house? Is that a thing anymore?

Weather forecasting has gotten really Sophiesticated.

We used to have a St. Bernard who would try to hide under the kitchen table when a storm was approaching. You’d have thought we were holding a seance.

Oh man, this is our house. During inclement weather, instead of the closet, my bride’s dog crawls under the workbench in my office.

Funny, my joints didn’t predict anything.

We need better contrast in the closet here.
