On the Crimean peninsula, illegally annexed by Russia, several explosions occurred on August 23, 2023. This is reported by Jason Jay Smart, correspondent of the Kyiv Post. via X, formerly Twitter.

In the corresponding post, Smart writes: “Massive explosions in Russian-occupied Crimea: there are reports that Russian radar stations in Tarkhankut have been hit. At least seven explosions were heard.” Tarkhankut is a peninsula at the western end of Crimea.

I just don’t believe he was on a plane that listed him as a passenger. In his situation that would have been monumentally stupid and awful as he is, he’s not stupid.
