The spokes-cop has four lines here.

Zero bail: There IS a reason for this: The excessively rich can make bail without effort, but the poor (aka, often black) defendant cannot. Strangely, folks who consider all of us to be equally human see that as giving (yet another) unfair advantage to the rich.

No arrests: That’s on the cops.

No consequences: That’s on the courts.

Criminals released: That’s assuming they ARE criminals… but if he’s saying that they’re released after being found guilty, that’s on the community that has decided not to fund jails. Or if they’re released without trial because they have a right to an attorney, but there aren’t enough to go around, then that too is on the community that has decided not to hire enough of ’em.

For what it’s worth, I think that bail needs to be replaced with an ankle monitor in every case. Or some other system that actually doesn’t so much discriminate on the basis of (lack of) bank account. But of course doing it that way costs money, and (see above) the community has to decide to tax itself for that.

They huge spike in crime was 2019 – 2020. Wasn’t that during Trump’s time? Why didn’t you blame him?

Soft on crime leftist cities – where the merchandise is locked up because the criminals are not. You get what you vote for, no sympathy.

Yet, the US is #1 in imprisonment per capita. Maybe there are policies that PREVENT crime that could/should be considered?

As long as Republicans bang on about law and order while dismissing Jan. 6 and coddling the criminals at the top (especially you-know-who) of the conspiracy, then spare me.

Zero bail is for low-level suspects, people who, if they had a little money, would get out anyway; avoiding things like job loss and financial ruin. Violent criminals can and should be kept in jail and NOT even offered high bail.

I will agree that common sense among those who back Trump is conspicuously lacking, but I don’t understand what Ramirez is trying to say here. This country has a higher percentage of incarcerated citizens than any other country in the world, including China and North Korea. To implicate we are soft on crime is flat out wrong!

Good point Mr Ramirez. Who will be the first to die because the life long criminal trump isn’t behind bars awaiting trial. Every day he threatens court officials and witnesses. He has a gullible mob that does his bidding, ergo January 6th, 2021.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! CRIMINALS ARE OUT TO GET YOU! BUT… Wait…

Any look at crime stats over time will show you that crime has steadily dropped over time. Crime rates are the lowest in decades. It’s also independent of which political party is in charge.

Ivana, a former businesswoman and media personality, died in her New York townhouse in 2022 at age 73 after she fell down the stairs and sustained blunt impact injuries. She is the father of Trump’s most famous children, Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr. and was buried at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey.

According to The Daily Mail, Ivana Trump’s grave has become overgrown with grass and is barely visible.” The Mail obtained pictures that show the dastardly scene.

The problem is genetic, not ballistic, but since the problem people are a constituent group of the Democrat Party, Democrats lie and say that the problem is ballistic.

Felons can’t vote, most criminals are apolitical, with the exception of Trump and the Magas.

Is lawless Trump up to 500 years in prison if convicted on all counts?

Common sense would see it for what it is. A desperate underclass in the USA created by republicans who ended every social program so they could give tax breaks to rich people.

Sadly, it’s because stores can write off the losses, and not incur the expense of hiring proper security and paying them to go to court for the people they detain. When I worked retail security in the 80’s the police liked coming to our store to arrest the shoplifters we detained. As, we were one of only two stores in the mall that followed through at court. Ensuring convictions of those we caught shoplifting. The other stores would have them arrested, but didn’t pay for their security, or employees to go to court. Without the store agent/employee physically in court, all the shoplifter had to say was not guilty, with no one to witness against them, they were found not guilty.

As it is, if you have a job you like, I wouldn’t risk losing it shoplifting.

Funny. When young black man Travon Martin was murdered, the police interviewed the gunman and then let him go without even interviewing a witness. I don’t remember Ramirez complaining about that.

This is what’s called cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face. Why more people aren’t rising up and calling for an end to this insanity really is puzzling.

If you think this comic is wrong, please explain this fact…At least 17 retailers have left San Francisco’s Union Square area since 2020.The latest departures include Nordstrom, Office Depot, and Old Navy, reports say.Retailers cite concerns over employee and customer safety related to shoplifting and other crimes.17 retailers! And make sure you watch the video from this past weekend of hoodlums ransacking Nordstroms in L.A. These leftists’ posters won’t condemn any of this. Wonder why?

JUST IN: President Joe Biden reminisces on the time when he signed the ‘bipartivifiloxtureagain” while speaking about ‘Bidenomics’ in Wisconsin.

Very inspiring words from our president who definitely does not suffer from dementia.

“But then… when I signed the bipartivifiloxtureagain which…”
