Looks like there ain’t gonna be a recession, a tragic turn of events for Republicans. They are desperately hoping for a deep, long lasting recession with as much suffering as possible. Unfortunately for them, inflation is getting under control, jobs have been created, manufacturing is being ONshored, and infrastructure projects are getting under way.

A tragic outcome for Goodwyn and The Disciples.

Bidenomics: Enrich the Biden Crime Family by selling out the United States, while at the same time driving its middle class into poverty where they can’t feed their children or put a roof over their heads. Next?

Cute, except most Americans have been $500 away from bankruptcy for the last decade. It started when the mortgage crisis hit in 2007/2008. That’s when you found people didn’t have the financial reserves to cover themselves. It reverberated into the rental markets and people simply never recovered.

Blaming Biden/Harris is moronic, like most of Goodwyn’s work.

That’s the corporate economics, which gradually took over since 1970. Reaganomics and its progeny accelerated it. More for the corporations who buy the politicians who shower more welfare on them. Uncle Thomas and Scalito know it well. — I have mine, screw you!

It’s sad to watch Goodwyn convince conservatives that being $400 away from bankruptcy is not the fault of Republicans spending every moment of their lives convincing their followers that being $400 away from bankruptcy is President Biden’s fault.

US private hiring hotter than expected despite July easing

Hiring in the US private sector decelerated in July but was nearly twice as high as analysts expected according to payroll firm ADP on Wednesday, signaling strength in the jobs market. The US labor market has proven resilient even as the central bank hiked interest rates rapidly since March 2022 to cool demand — with higher lending costs making it pricier to borrow funds for activities like business expansion.

And the Dem party works on measures to help all citizens while the Repubs would like to pull the nation back to a time of more economic inequality and basic human eights for those who are not the “right” people.

By most measures, the country is doing better than in 2020. However, the US credit rating was downgraded because Republican House members played politics.

WALL STREET JOURNAL Fitch Ratings downgraded its US debt rating on Tuesday from the highest AAA rating to AA+, citing “a steady deterioration in standards of governance.” The downgrade comes after lawmakers negotiated up until the last minute on a debt ceiling deal earlier this year, risking the nation’s first default.

The incredibly stupid actions of the House Republicans may make fun television for some, but real governing is serious business and beyond the abilities of Jordan, MTG, etc.

I would not say most Americans, but due to Reaganomics (vodooeconomics) and the constant drumming to reduce taxes, destroy unions, maximize profits, and other republican efforts, many people are one or two paychecks away from serious financial difficulties. (even with savings and not being in debt.)

Al, is that why Americans are spending at record levels, vacations are way up, and we have record number working, record low unemployment, and record new manufacturing with wages now out pacing inflation? As I told Lisa this morning, conservatives refuse to celebrate victories by the U.S. and only cheer the negatives that they themselves have brought us. And all for that selfish, self-serving power they crave. conservatives are the enemy of the U.S. and have been since 1774.

American working class poverty is due to the destruction of the unions. This has been a republican priority since the Goldwater days.

The republicans have convinced American that “Free Trade” is a good thing, so Americans have to compete on the world labor markets with nations in abject poverty.

As a case in point Land Rover is having a banner couple of years as ther very expensive vehicles are sold in rich western nations.

They are built in many places including India with the starting production salary is 7,000 Rupies a month or about 84 dollars.

And the republicans complin that the unions make us non competitive.

    Some thoughts on current politics:

The economy’s bad: Contrary to the 13 Nobel-winning economists (most of whom are emeritus (= retired) academics, and of which one is Treasury Secretary Yellin’s hubby, signing up as applauding Biden’s pumping trillions into the economy, Bidenomics is nothing more than “smoke and mirrors” hiding a disaster! Just ask the poor joker trying to buy gas for their (non-electric) car, or groceries or to pay their day-to-day bills. Let the Kamal(a) explain it to you in single syllable words, you ignorant children!

The border’s wide open: Alejandro Majorkcas would have you believe it’s completely under control. So “Don’t believe your lying eyes or listen to the grunts on the ground!” They are too close to the problem and don’t have our superior intelligence and expertise. After all, the Kamal(a) has diagnosed the root cause and has it well in hand.

Our foreign policy’s a joke: Witness Putin’s adventurism in Ukraine, China is thumbing their nose at us in the South China Sea, is threatening Taiwan, will be setting up electronic surveillance in Cuba and will (probably) do so in North Dakota, has sent spy balloons over the Continental US, has put secret Chinese Police Departments in-country. I thought Biden was our resident foreign policy expert due to his vast experience. What a pile of mule muffins! Obama was right about Biden, but could the Kamal(a) eff it up even worse?

Biden keeps falling down: At his (and my) age, if I showed half his tendencies and kerfuffles, my MD would be extremely concerned and would insist on my having a complete physical and mental workup!

Cocaine found in the White House: With the Katzenjammer Kids and Keystone Kops in charge of security, we should be d**n glad that the envelope didn’t contain ricin powder or anthrax spores. But then again, it could have been a packaged pipe bomb.

As the Dems said when Biden was inaugurated — “The adults are back in the room!" Only if they’re academics or fools!
