He’s prickly but he’s got a dry wit.

You know what they say about succulents…

And his dinner needs more sand.

Always seems to be retaining water … so that’s enough for now.

I love how nonchalant the cactus looks (with the ‘arm’ on the back of the chair) telling the water (lilly) waiter: “Nah, I’m good.”
