It is just amazing how the cognitively impaired right wing trolls here project their mental shortcomings on to President Biden, and then wonder why we LOL at them.

Gotta love the excuse from the Dems that she did not realize they moved from debate to vote. That move required a vote. So what was Feinstein doing during that vote? And she’s not one of the first to vote in a roll call scenario. So they have been at it for awhile and she did not know? She thought a roll call vote was a debate?

Only a fool thinks she had any clue what she was voting on. It’s the staff members making the decisions, not the Senator. And it happens on both sides.

    What a disgrace.

McConnell has fallen several times in the past few months and last week froze for 30 seconds during a press briefing. I know serving as a U.S. Senator is a great honor but it’s time for him, Feinstein, Grassley, etc. to accept that gold watch and retire.

    The American gerontocracy.

‘Drives away young talent’: AOC explains why Congress is getting older

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Saturday explained exactly why Congress appears to be getting older.Ocasio-Cortez, who recently hit back at Justice Samuel Alito’s attempt to avoid all regulation from Congress, decided to address the inequities of Congress that lead to a generally older candidate pool. She picked up on a report that indicated that “Congress keeps getting older — even as each newly elected class includes younger folks. The 2022 class had 18 new reps under 40. But older incumbents stick around longer,” according to the report.

Maybe that’s what these senior Senators want. To die in office, carried out in a casket, displayed in the Rotunda, then shipped home for the Grand Finale with fireworks!

while I do agree with term limits and age limits, I do have to wonder. How many of you are willing to vote for a person who can’t let go of the past(the election was stolen), hoards (documents), refuses to listen to advisors, refuses to take care of health, bad mouthing people who try to help. Some classic symptoms of dementia and he is 77.

There is already a mechanism in place for limiting terms when a representative is not doing what the people who voted for them want done. It’s called an election.

If Feinstein could name her successor, she’d probably leave now. As it is, the next Senator from California will either be elected by the voters in 2024 or appointed by Newsome (if the latter, the appointee will have the advantage of running as an incumbent in ’24). Either way, her replacement will likely be further to the Left than she is, but the question may be HOW FAR further Left is likely under each scenario…

I do believe that Ms. Feinstein should gracefully retire. And I think she knows it, too.

I do worry that Mr. McConnel’s (and the Lickspittle Chorus’) continual shouts of “I’m FINE!” (and “He’s FINE!”), which are just another in a series of denials of reality that afflict the Republican party.

He’s not fine. His brain wiring is not functioning properly. Without testing, one cannot know whether he had a transient ischemic attack, a mini-stroke, a petit mal seizure, or other malady with potentially lethal consequences if ignored. Though we can’t know which one, any qualified doctor will tell you it should be concerning.

It’s not AGE, it’s MENTAL ACUITY.

And yes, while a few politicians and judges over 70 would pass that standard, most would FAIL. I’m all for mandatory annual mental testing for elected and appointed officials.

Biden is so frail he can not climb the primary stairway to Air Force 1, and now uses the shorter stairs at the rear of the plane.
