Funny that… in 1961, Victorian times were about 60 years past, give or take a year or two.
Now, 1961 is as far away from us as those Victorian times are from then… though the 60s really are two different times: the early 60s were left overs from the 50s, and by 1965 it became a whole other, differnt time. ;-)
1961 was the year I graduated from high school. I grew up during a great time and have lived during the best of times. I can only hope that it continues to be mostly good. There was some bad times during all those years and we overcame them. We can do so now, too.
