Republicans have forced themselves to believe Republican polls, polling Republicans in Republican districts are a bellwether for everyone in the country. That might work in keeping Republicans Republican, but doesn’t work at all for gaining Republican support.
Biden has taken action to lower costs and give families more breathing room, including cutting prescription drug costs, health insurance premiums, and energy bills, while driving the uninsured rate to historic lows. And check out the jobs report. With the increase in US manufacturing jobs, we chip away at our dependency on “J”China.
Biden spoke to the nation on Friday and it it was a bad speech. If he’d stayed with his original beginning theme of how working together prevented a default and only stressed what had been accomplished together, Biden would have appeared to be above the fray and left the impression that here’s someone that places the nation above politics. Instead, with 17 months to go before the election, it was a typical political stump speech that went on the attack. A wasted opportunity that will not help his ratings nor his reelection chances.
He doesn’t poll well. True. He didn’t poll well in 2019 either. Still beat the malignant narcissistic criminal he was running against. In addition that was BEFORE 1/6 when the wannabe dictator tried to overthrow a peaceful election. I didn’t want him during the 2019 primaries but he was the clear choice compared to the right wing fascist/theocratic tyranny that wants to rule over us.
God Bless President Biden. A good, strong leader committed to properly fulfilling his Oath of Office. He understands the Constitution and its most important part, the Preamble.
Biden takes victory lap in debt ceiling speech: ‘The American people got what they needed’
On Friday evening, President Joe Biden gave an Oval Office address triumphantly announcing the bipartisan deal to lift the debt ceiling — and touting the latest reports showing the strength of the economy.“This is vital,” said Biden. “Because it is essential to the progress we have made over the last few years. Keeping full faith and credit of the United States of America. Passing a budget that continues to grow our economy and reflects our values as a nation. That is why I am speaking to you tonight. To report on the crisis averted and what we are doing to protect America’s future. Passing this budget agreement was critical.”
The survey of establishments showed nonfarm payrolls rose by 339,000 jobs last month. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast payrolls would increase by 190,000. The economy created 93,000 more jobs in March and April than previously estimated.
3.7% unemployment, the lowest its been in decades. Americans can get jobs and walk tall.
Um, everyone trips over something. Most of us are fortunate not to do it on live TV. He jumped up and joked about it. I find that impressive and I certainly wouldn’t vote for Freedom Stealing Rupubs, because the President tripped over a sandbag.

Based on his “oval office news conference” I’d say that arrow is pointed in a decidedly wrong direction!

Whatever goes down, must come back up again. After defeating the lying republicans, Joe’s ratings are sure to come back up again.
