Republicans have forced themselves to believe Republican polls, polling Republicans in Republican districts are a bellwether for everyone in the country. That might work in keeping Republicans Republican, but doesn’t work at all for gaining Republican support.

Biden has taken action to lower costs and give families more breathing room, including cutting prescription drug costs, health insurance premiums, and energy bills, while driving the uninsured rate to historic lows. And check out the jobs report. With the increase in US manufacturing jobs, we chip away at our dependency on “J”China.

Based on his “oval office news conference” I’d say that arrow is pointed in a decidedly wrong direction!

Biden spoke to the nation on Friday and it it was a bad speech. If he’d stayed with his original beginning theme of how working together prevented a default and only stressed what had been accomplished together, Biden would have appeared to be above the fray and left the impression that here’s someone that places the nation above politics. Instead, with 17 months to go before the election, it was a typical political stump speech that went on the attack. A wasted opportunity that will not help his ratings nor his reelection chances.

He doesn’t poll well. True. He didn’t poll well in 2019 either. Still beat the malignant narcissistic criminal he was running against. In addition that was BEFORE 1/6 when the wannabe dictator tried to overthrow a peaceful election. I didn’t want him during the 2019 primaries but he was the clear choice compared to the right wing fascist/theocratic tyranny that wants to rule over us.

Good metaphor. “The Big Guy” should be retired and spend his golden years with his 6……..errrr…….7 grandchildren.
