I just keep hoping Harry wakes up soon. Me-gan has him so brain washed it’s unreal. Everyone wishes they had never heard her name. She wasn’t black till she could use it to her advantage. I think Harry’s in for a rough future because of her. The damage she has done is unreal. Me Me Me.

I find the obsession Americans have with the British royal family is a bit bizarre. Fortunately during the coronation I could find something better to watch, like Third Rock From The Sun.

Only listen to local news in the morning. It only has local news, no cutting to national station to show what the latest fashions are or announcements of a celebrity being the first person on Earth to be pregnant. As if I knew who this celebrity is.

Might as well sell everything and join a nudist commune. Hey, that’s actually a good idea…

If you want to know what is happening, don’t look to your TV to find it.

I realize you have to pay someone for actual journalism but it’s so much quicker to search the internet and substitute opinion.

This might sound like heresy or treason to some.

Believe it or not, I have found more accurate reporting about the U.S. by reading Russia Today and Pravda.

That’s a sad commentary on U.S. news (propaganda) outlets.

Yesterday’s strip was about television being a vast wasteland. For me, that especially includes the news media.

By the way, CNN started on this day in 1980.

He’s right you know. When the latest “Royal News” comes on, my tv goes off.

I’m not sure how to interpret this: “the content of news shows” is getting worse, or the news shows themselves are getting worse. I think it is easier to justify the latter… but I remember the mid/late 1960s.

I can’t remember the last time I actually watched any “News” programming!

Not watching it except the headlines, because of the headlines, anymore.

We gave up watching the News, too depressing. We watch the Super Bowl. I leave the room for the half time insanity.

In addition to watching the nightly news at 11 pm, and switching between the various news channels while going to sleep, I also read daily the regional newspaper, as well as the once a week local paper. Plus I read the latest issue of the same newsweekly I have read since junior high – though during the pandemic it became a bi-weekly.
