P1: Who’s announcing — Porky Pig? P2: Why do all 5 girls have to be the same height? P2 and 3: Shouldn’t Dorothy take her glove off her right hand in order to handshake?
Keri paid that b*tch on the other team to crack Dotty Dubbs in the ribs. A certain gentleman from Goshen takes notice and approaches Keri in the parking lot and offers her a job.
Am I actually seeing the birth of an interesting plot thread here? In upstate NY, there was an incident in 2006 when two girls soccer teams were lining up for post-game handshakes, when suddenly one of the players cold-cocked an opponent, shattering her jaw. But the puncher served no jail time; in fact, she received no punishment at all, really (I don’t even know if she was required to pay the other girl’s medical bills). I was infuriated by this at the time (and still am).
It would interesting if the author pursued this, and dropped most of the other boring, hanging storylines (and probably just end the baseball and softball seasons, too, considering he obviously knows nothing about sports). But, of course, that won’t happen.
That was nice of Madison to charge out to the mound to shake hands. Not sure why Dorothy was approaching the crabby Capitols player backwards, unless it was to tell her to kiss her azz, but if this results in an all out brawl, I’m all for it. And speaking of all for it, you should be all for today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
It would be more fun though if the eyes-closed pitcher beaned a couple of batters and at least one of them charged the circle. I don’t think that girls clear the benches the way baseball players do either so it would be 1 on 1
If the Madison team is called the Capitols, does that mean that the school is located in the capital of the state where the Capitol Buildong would be? If so, then we’ve solved the mystery of where Milford is located; it’s Wisconsin, the only state with Madison as its capital. If not, then we’re left with another mystery: Why are they called the Capitols?

Interesting that this same comic, on CK, has all the blue players wearing red. Yowza.

Are they fighting in panel 3? Disco-ing? Celebrating? I truly have no idea.

Yowzer. Now that’s a fresh bit of Milford teen vernacular that hasn’t been heard since when? 1939?
Is that our first case of ECMS (Electrifying Catcher’s Mitt Syndrome) in P1?

It’s only natural to be irate after getting no hit by a smart a$$ pitcher who wears a blindfold.

P-4: 2 minutes for Elbowing & a Game Misconduct! Apparently, this young lady has been inspired by the wrong Capitals team.
