This is most likely a private school where no matter what you answer assume it is correct because otherwise the teacher gets fired. But it is OK because in most states private schools have sadist for principles who are allowed corporal punishment

How about this tactic: Be prepared for a lie early on. Pounce on it. Don’t let it go. Don’t let him bulldoze through it. Burn him to the ground on it. The repeat the process on the next lie until he melts down or storms off the stage.
