Ah, the xenophobic fear: the only way conservatives know how to see the world. it must be awful to live in such a state. Maybe you should go buy 12 or 15 more guns to feel safe.

The wave is a leading indicator. Expect crime to rise. Housing to become more scarce and expensive. Local service budgets to go into the red. Jobs harder to find. Wages to stagnate. Inflation to rise.

And more and bigger waves to come. The strategy is to overwhelm the system until it crashes then declare capitalism and the Constitution a failure so that socialism can save the day.

This Cloward-Piven strategy has been taught in colleges since 1966.

Again. Pres. Biden is following the same laws Trump, Obama and Bush followed, with the same results.

1,500 troops. That 350 migrants per soldier expected to cross the border every day. Good luck with that.

Some of these lib commentators don’t have jobs so they dont pay taxes that will have to be spent to house, feed, educate … What will make them, “see the light”, is when they or a loved one has to go to an ER, and they have to go to the back of the line. Hopefully, it’s not a LONG line.

Whichever conservative came up with “replacement theory” should win an Oscar or a prison sentence. Has been the excuse for all kinds of disgusting and threatening behavior, including killing.

Immigration is a global challenge, and climate change will exacerbate the challenge. Our government alone will not “fix” it, Republican or Democratic or..shudder..bipartisan.

Oddly, a lot of the surge has grown as the Repub cry to close the border rhetoric has grown.

Then again, if the rightwing faction of government and the CIA hadn’t destroyed democracies in South America to put in fascists that corporations could utilize better for mining, drilling and such, much of this surge wouldn’t exist today.

Brilliant! Mr. Ramirez displayed his vast talent using the Japanese ukiyo-e style art. Much like The Great Wave off Kanagowa. Kudos on a most appropriate piece of work, Mike.

U.S. border agents have confirmed that 1.2 million illegal migrants “got away” from authorities while crossing border under the Biden administration. (Jan 22, 2023)https://www.foxnews.com/us/border-agents-confirm-1-2-million-gotaway-migrants-biden-administration

Ok, Ramirez, how do you propose to stop them from coming? Sending them back OBVIOUSLY isn’t working. What’s your idea for stopping people from doing stuff in other countries? Whip it on me!

Where are all of these migrants going? What are they going to do for housing, money, food, and jobs? Who’s paying for all of this and when will it stop? Ramirez’s toon doesn’t begin to represent the overwhelming ramifications this constant wave will yield in the next few years.

The zoo man questions what the republican plan is. Hey genius. We had a plan and it was working. That is until the dumbest man in politics came into office with the dumbest V.P. at his side and dismantled everything that was working (remain in Mexico, The Wall being built, Title 42, etc.). Starting tomorrow, you’ll see the biggest surge of illegal aliens ever recorded, on top of the 6 million that have come in since Biden took office. No wonder his approval is at 36%.

What do you do with 4 or 5 million uneducated, unskilled people dumping themselves on your doorstep looking for a permanent fix to their problems? This is not a question of mercy, charity, loving your fellow man etc! This is a socio-economic disaster to this nation as these folks will not really be paying into this nation for being taken in and rescued from whatever caused them to flee in the first place. This is not the 1880s or 1902’s when we could absorb a large population that was not educated or skilled and who could support themselves on the farm or work in a factory . Some sub-groups such as Venezuelans who have a good education level will make it. How many nuclear physicists are we getting from Nicaragua??? Even Canada regulates who can and can not immigrate!!!! WE HAVE THE RIGHT AND NATIONAL DUTY TO CONTROL OUR OWN BORDER!!!!!
